What did you wear when you gave birth?

Hospital gown? Socks or no socks? Just curious. With both of mine I wore socks and a hospital gown only. Would have worn a bra but they wouldn't allow it. One was a c-sec, the other was a vbac, both were at different hospitals and different doctors.

  • I had an emergency c-section, so hospital gown. I hope the next one is a VBAC water birth, so I will be naked for that.

  • I think a hospital gown was it. October in texas is still pretty hot, I wanted as little clothes on as they would let me

  • I wore a hospital gown and socks until it was time to push they said I should take my socks off. It was just easier to untie the gown after to nurse.

  • I wore the hospital gown, socks, and shoes. (I walked through my entire labor.) I've had friend who wear a binsi skirt and nursing tank. I may go that route this time, we'll see.
