  • As long as he isn't driving drunk or spending money we don't have, then nope, I don't have a problem with it.

  • Yep it would bother me. My husband and I are grown ups who are married with kids, he has no reason to be out acting like a 20 yr old without responsibilities. The money and time he would spend away from me and the kids isnt worth that, and more importantly, I would do that to him. Instead we have an agreement in place where he can go out with his friends and do things like go to the races, fishing etc, and he can do that twice a month. On the other weekends he has to spend his days with me and the kids. During sport seasons (kids little league, cheerleading, etc) he must be in attendance to watch them do their thing. It isnt about us anymore, it is about the kids.

  • I think *every* weekend would bother me but I would LOVE for DH to go out with some friends once in a while. Even every other week! When I go out with friends I get this attitude. lol. It's not my fault he doesn't go out! I have told him over and over, 'Why don;t you call ___ and go do something.'

but him going out with his friends once a week..wouldn't bother me. but also, the favor would need to be returned, in my favor. cause I love to go out with my girls as well :]

  • I agree with gulfcoastmom4....

Going bar hopping every weekend til 2am is an act of a single man with no responsibilities...

I'm not married but when I do settle down I wouldn't be doing that to my husband so I would expect that he would not either. Every once in a while going to grab a drink with a friend, going hunting, fishing, watching a game, something like that would be cool but I don't see what a married man should be doing in a bar every weekend or out til 2am...

Sorry, that's just weird to me.
