  • I don't know about diarhea but what I found in my sons when they teethed or teething{ I have a 13 month old} They had looser stools but never the liquid diarhea. I would just keep an eye on your munchkin and if she doesn't have any other symptoms then I would say that is why she is having diarhea. Good Luck.

  • Teething itself doesn't directly cause it, but teething symptoms, such as excess drooling, can. If it's really bad, there's a good chance it's cause by something else. Kids who are teething tend to put *everything* in their mouths which exposes them to more germs ...

  • Doctors will tell you no but in my experience YES!!! Both kids and several of my grandkids developed very loose stools and they were very irritating to the skin. In fact, they'd scream as soon as they moved their bowels. The only times any of the kids had a diaper rash was when they were teething.

  • I have 2 sons. In my own experience. My kids would swallow their saliva. Teething makes babies have alot of droool. I think it goes through them and out the other end. That would be my take on the whole thing :)
