I'm so glad to see people quit. I've always been a non-smoker, but in 2007 we lost 3 loved ones to lung cancer. Thurs. a dear friend called &told me that her husband was entering hospice care...final stages of cancer. He's suffered for 2 years, started with gastric cancer, then kidney cancer, they removed a kidney, but it had already moved into his lymph nodes, from there the kidney cancer traveled to his spine & filled his lungs, they were treating this cancer, but before Thanksgiving his lungs began to fill with fluid & he was literally drowning. They had to stop the treatment & now the cancer has traveled to his brain. He can still think clearly, but his body doesn't respond to messages, he knows how to read, but he can't make sense of the words on the page, or even use the remote for the tv.
All of this suffering caused by cigarettes & now he'll be leaving his wife & kids behind.
PLEASE STOP SMOKING if you haven't.
