Anyone ever sell breast milk??

Please let me know your experience, how did you do it, would you do it again?

  • I know people who have donated it but not sold it. I'm not sure who would sell it. It seems kind of unethical to me.

  • I donate. I have a "milk share" group of moms I know. One mom had an illness and couldn't breast feed for 72 hours. It was an emergency and she called in the milk share group to donate. I have an acquaintance who I donate to. She buys the storage bags.

    It is not legal is all states to sell it.

  • Never sold milk, but I did donate it to a friend and she bought the storage bags. As someone else mentioned it is illegal in some states to sell it.

  • It is illegal to sell breast milk. There are ways to donate it though.

  • thats gross. you don't know who it is coming from, or what they have? im sure some are legit, if u know the person really well, ect. but i wouldn't give it to my baby. jmo!
