Is this true ....

If you test before your missed period that your most likely to miscarry im kind of scare now cus i tested 6 days before my missed period .

  • that would be false. There are pregnancy tests that you can take up to 5 days early...they wouldn't do that if it caused harm...

  • No I think what might have got messed up in translation is you are more likely to to know that you miscarried or had a chemical pregnancy. Where the pregnancy ended so soon that if it was back in the day you would have thought you were a day or two late or just had a heavy period.

  • No. There is SOME truth surrounding this but like a PP said there is some type of translation issues.

    The issue is if you get a BFP and THEN you "start your period" you are actually having a miscarriage NOT a regular period.

    But the actual taking of a test will not make you miscarry

  • It is not cause and effect. Most pregnancies are lost before one even knows they're pregnant (ie very early). So, reason dictates that the earlier you know, the more likely you are to lose it. In the past, it is unlikely one would have know she was even pregnant.
