  • Shredded hard cheese if ok, it is the soft cheeses that are unsafe during pregnancy. Also, thoroughly cooked meat is fine, too, whether it be turkey or beef. If you have a lot of heartburn, you may want to use a mild sauce, though.

  • Soft cheeses are unpasturized. Shredded is fine to eat. Just make sure to fully cook the meat.

a spin off to tacos...4 chicken breast, 1 jar salsa, 1 jar green chilis and 1 can crm of chicken soup. put all in a crock pot fpr 8 hours. take some of the sauce out so it's not too soupy and shred the chicken. Add 1 cup of shredded cheese. Serve on soft shells with sour cream and lettuce.

  • just don't eat anything raw. And I ate all kinds of cheeses through all three of my pregnancies. Never heard that some are not pasteurized. Guess it was ok - although all three kids LOVE cheese!

  • Yes, you can eat them even with cheese. Just as long as it is processed cheese and not unpasturized.
