I don't get it..HELP

So my daughter will be turning 12wks tomorrow and her sleep pattern at night is changing. She used to sleep for a whole 6hrs to start off the night and then 4, then 3 before waking up at 7. For the past couple of nights she's been going 4, 3, 3. I miss when she was sleep a bit longer. Is this normal? We transitioned her from her pak n play to a crib 2 1/2 wks ago, but this crazy pattern just started 2 nights ago. HELP!!

  • Normal. You will be lucky to see a normal sleep pattern until about 12 months.

Everytime they go thru a growth spurt, they will change. I didn't get a full 6 hours sleep until around 11 months. Up to then, I was lucky to get 2 hours straight at a time.

  • Normal. How long they sleep changes a lot when they are this little.

  • its normal. they have different sleep patterns. its changes everytime they get a growth spurt and sometimes when they learn something new and hit that milestone. don't worry too much its just the way they are. enjoy this time being so small it goes way too fast.

  • My sons both slept through the night until 4 months. Then teeth, moving, growing and who knows what else changed their pattern. When my middle child was weaned, finally at 1 1/2, he went back to an all night sleep. I am hoping my youngest does the same thing!

  • It's normal. Children change their sleep schedules based on growth sperts. Often they wake up more as their body needs more fuel to grow.

  • Co-sleep! People used to ask how my baby was sleeping and my answer was "great!" despite the fact that I honestly didn't know. And what you don't know won't hurt you. ;)
