What goes well with a ham dinner?

My husband and I are having a dinner party to introduce our newborn ds to some family members that haven't seen him yet.
We're going to bake a ham and have mixed veggies of carrots, zucchini, string beans, sweet yellow peppers and butternut squash, but I don't know what else to make with it. Any ideas?

  • Baked apples. My kids love them - I just steam the apples until they are soft and add a few of those cinnamon heart candies to ad some sweetness, or you could just add some plain cinnamon. Or if you are short on time, some natural applesauce. Apples go great with ham!

  • Mac n cheese, hashbrown casserole, scalloped potatoes, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, just to name a few. I didn't mean to make all of these at the same time. they're just a few things that pair well with Ham.

If there are alot of children then mac and cheese, but not all adults are fond of it. Remember though yo9u have a variety of stuff to choose from....

    I love it though....
