  • Depends on the task I think and the reward offered.
If it's something where they would get multiple stickers in a day (like with a potty chart) then something like an entire chart filled before a small prize... lets say 20 stickers = a little car or something
If it's something bigger like remembering all on their own to clean up their toys and each night before bed they get a sticker... maybe 4-5 stickers would equal a prize

  • We have this responsibility chart. She has 7 things she must do each day and they change from time to time; at the moment she has: stop whining, clean up room, keep hands to yourself, get ready for bed, share, say please and thank you, no throwing. She has 7 days to earn a maximum of 49 happy faces. Her reward is once a week and it is as follows: 39 & under - needs to behave better, no treats, 40-44 - gets some ice cream, a cookie, a cupcake or some candy (depends what's been baked or what we have in the house), 45-48 - gets to stay up late and watch a movie or play a game, 49 - gets a surprise from the store.

  • my son had to earn all his "tickets" in order to obtain his reward (cartoons). He had about one chore per year of age i guess.
