Are any other moms haivng twins with a MAJOR COMPLICATION

Right now as doctors can see my identical twins are in the same sack im really scared!!!

  • i thought thats how identical twins were? arent they supposed to be in the same sac? i mean im not a doctor i just thought thats what i heard

  • they are called monoatomic twins and there are many complications with this kind....twins always should have two seperate sacs so far from the ultrasound mine are sharing 1

  • Twins should NEVER be in the same sac my twins split 9 days after conception if they would of waited three more daysi would of had conjoined twins

  • Actually you are somewhat correct. If the doctor said theyre monochorionic then go with that but most Identical twins are in the same sac. No fraternal twins share the same sac. As for the monochorionic twins there is a one percent chance theyre. What happens is identical twins splitting occurs late enough to result in both a shared placenta and a shared sac. Sometimes they end up sharing organs. They will probably have you deliver at 32 weeks to the health of the babies. You should join a "having multiples group" I know youre not alone! Good LUCK!!!
