What color should we paint the boys' room?

They have yellow walls now. But bedding is now spiderman with blue, red, tan.
I would like to paint the room tan but there is tan rug in there and didn't know if it would look to much like big tan box.(LOL). Any suggestions? I wanted tan in case would change bedding again it would go with that color.

  • Go with tan. You can always hang things on the walls to break up the monotony of tan.

  • White? Maybe a light gray? Before I read your decor I was actually gonna suggest a camouflage room :)

  • Use a tan that is a few shades lighter or darker than the carpet, and if you have baseboards paint them white.

  • Paint two walls in a cargo brown - and two in an off white - very boyish.

  • I would stick with some form of tan it is easy to change decor with Tan then any other color other then white boring walls
