  • He had books from both extreme left wing and extreme right wing ideologies. He was anti-government, which usually means you're an anarchist--which is sometimes considered extreme left, sometimes extreme right, but usually neither. Imagine the political spectrum like a circle where most of us are moderate and on one side of the circle. He was most likely somewhere on the other side.

    Political Spectrum Circle

However, he appears to be mentally ill, possibly schizophrenic, so any political thoughts he has may be jumbled and incoherent and even mixed up between left and right ideologies in some ways. He's probably not rational, and doesn't represent any 'normal' person within the political spectrum.

It's just unfortunate that his family, teachers, etc. did not see how bad off he was. Isolation probably didn't help him if he was a loner.

  • The fact that he was a left wing pot head has nothing to do with the fact that he is nuts. He also was not "left-wing". Do a little more research on him & what his friends had to say about his beliefs, some of which are very right wing.

  • Tyme, he was ALL OVER the map in his beliefs... which speaks volumes to his mental competency. (Mein Kampf? Fascism is actually considered on the political right. FAAAAAAR political right.)

In the end, his ideology will have very little to do with anything. People jumped to incorrect conclusions.

  • When did Sarah Palin point a gun at a person? When did Sarah Palin shoot a person? and this whole situation has nothing to do with being right wing or left wing. he was a very sick individual. noone can predict these things.

  • Hey look.. Sweet pouncing on another discussion with hints of Palin when a question is being asked about an atheist, 9-11 truther, ocultist, anti-government freak who was off the charts crazy and obsessed about a poilitician since 2007 (well before Palin) and killed people...

  • Sorry tyme4me...

Bad question. Sloopy set-up, poorly worded, incorrect assumptions, and not enough info to answer anyway.

Ask a better question and you'll get better answers.

  • Medical treatment. Fix the broken HC system in this country that is nothing but a revolving door for those affected by mental health issues.
