Avent bottle nipples

Why do they turn yellow after some usage? My second-born is sharing the first born's

  • I have rust in my water which turns them color.. age probably does to if he is using bottles which are older....

    I know this isn't part of the questions but if the nipples were already used for one child then you might want to think about replacing them for the next child... nipples wear out and it even says in the directions they should be replaced every 3 months... Just an fyi :)

  • It can be the iron in some formulas or fluoride in your water.
