2 Bumps

I got some red potatoes recently and....

I have never cooked them before. How would you fix them?

  • Try chopping them up and cooking them in the powdered ranch dressing packet. YUM!

  • that is all we buy anymore.. mostly because my husband loves mashed potatoes and I refuse to peel them.. redskins I can leave the skin on and they taste even better!

  • cut them in half then boil them until fork tender. put a good amount of oil in the bottom of a frying pan, sprinkle with garlic salt and fry until browned on all sides, serve with dill sour cream. mix sour cream, pickle juice and dried or fresh dill chopped finely. SO GOOD.

  • Wash them, cut them in quarters, leave peel on, put in caserole dish with bacon bits and some ranch dressing, bake covered at 350 for approx. 1 hour or til done. Yummm Or you can cut in quarters and bring to boil til done, drain most of the water, add butter, parsley, salt & pepper, mix well cover with lid & let simmer about 10 mins.

  • They're great if you cut them into quarters or eighths, unpeeled, and rub them with olive oil. Stick them on a foil-lined cookie sheet, and sprinkle with salt, pepper and rosemary (fresh is best, but dried will be fine). Roast until they're soft (350). Yum! And relatively healthy! Just don't overdo the salt.
