What can I put in my oatmeal besides brown sugar and raisins?

  • any fruit (I use fresh or frozen because I don't like dried) and a little honey. Chocolate chips. Nuts. Flax seed.

  • Dates.

    Cinnamon, cardamon and coriander...

    Dried cherries.

    I never put sugar in when I'm adding dried fruit -I cook it right in, and it sweetens everything.

  • I like to cook mine with a little bit of sweetened dried cranberries and then toss in some chopped walnuts and a little bit of brown sugar when it's done. Yummy! Also if you add diced bananas and walnuts and a little brown sugar, it's almost like banana bread.

  • any kind of nut, or fruit, dried frut, berries, you can add other grains like barley or quinoa, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, yogurts, grape nuts cereal. enjoy
