WHAT TO DO IF ASD IS AT A STANDSTILL

David is at a standstill in Academics and social situations we are trying to move him to another school but are in limbo right now. What do you think?

  • & moving schools will help his social aspect? i think it would make it worse. going to a new place with ALL THESE people... i think thats a horrible idea especially in the middle of the year. is he doing bad in school???

  • Change is horrible for an ASD child. Mine is 11, hitting puberty, and all he** is breaking loose here. Sometims you just gotta let them sit at one level for awhile to avoid too much overstimulation.
