How many people were at your wedding?

We started putting together a guest list, its already at 76 people and thats just close family and a few friends. How can we keep it small, due to budget, and not offend people?

  • six, total.

me and my husband, and we had 2 kids at the time, both of which were there. 2 chaplains, one who married us and one who took pictures/video for us.

it was very small & intimate. wouldnt change anything about it :) we will have a reception when we get the money for all our friends/family members.

  • Our wedding had 82 guests... we invited 95 - it was nice and manageable!! People know you can't invite everyone... you do what you can!! If you can't invite co-workers etc you can always tell them they are more then welcome to come to the ceremony but you just can't afford to invite everyone to the reception. People get it. If they don't you really don't need them in your life any ways!!

  • We ended up with just under 100. We had to put our foot down with my mother-in-law. She wanted to invite all these relatives my husband hadn't seen or heard from since we was very young. Remember that not everyone will come.
