i have a five month old who is teething she has already gotten 2 teeth they arent all the way up like adult teeth but the tops are through the gum , i need advice because i give her Tylenol and orajel but it only seems to work for about 2 hours and then it wares off ,

  • you could use teething rings....or even a cool wash cloth to let her chew on that to help bring the teeth the rest of the way through. best of luck and hope this helps

  • just anything that she can chew on... to help rub the gums.

  • Stop giving her those things, especially the Orajel. Try mixing a little clove oil with another oil, like olive, and rubbing on the gums. 1 part clove oil to 3 parts carrier oil. And you are going to need to do anything you do every 30 minutes to 2 hours, regardless of what it is. I swear by a homeopathic drop called Camilia. You give it every 15 minutes until Baby is calm and happy. I have never had to give it more than 3 times every 2-3 hours. I have 3 children.

  • she doesn't put anything but her fingers in her mouth i have tried little rattles teething rings she just licks and then she throws it she doesn't want it , and Motrin keeps her up as well as ibuprofen and it never takes the pain away and teething tablets no i have not tried those yet :(
