  • my husband is peruvian so my daughter speaks english and spanish

  • ASL and some spanish. Both rewarding and they can be taught in combination. The kids are doing really well with ASL and it's great for my kids w/ special needs as they otherwise have trouble expressing themselves.

  • No - my elementary kids have spanish class once/week at school. I speak spanish and have taught my kids common phrases, but I'm not really stressing it.

  • My son is multi-lingual..  His other languages are:  Korean, Japanese, Hindi.. he's working on his Punjabi.    

    Due to his educational and career goals, it was important that he learn these languages.
