  • Ask a family member if you can. My mother in law did my last one and she really couldnt back out on me.

  • Wow, nice job hostess. Do you have a sister, cousin, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, mother, best friend, someone who has hosted a baby shower to help you out? Dont be shy, ask around

  • Ask someone else to help, you may have to pick up some of the slack too and contribute a little bit. But just ask someone. I hope it works out ok for you; I'm sorry.

  • I guess your options are , cancle it or find someone else to host for you!
Why would someone do that so close to the day?

  • I'll come do it. If that's not an option just have it yourself. They won't know the original hostess backed out...unless you tell them.

  • I would strangle your former friend!!! Kidding. Try finding a group of friends, your mom and MIL, and see if they can help you toss it all together. I planned my own baby shower, top to bottom. But... I had more than two weeks! Good luck!

  • I would ask your mom or best friend if they can take over. Tell them it doesn't have to be a huge production. Maybe offer to pay for the cake yourself or something?

I know that sucks and that's not how it's supposed to be but it's better than nothing.

Sorry that happened to you...good luck!!
