When will my baby be ready to eat baby food?
There aren't any clear answers online, when did your children began eating baby food? Everyone keeps buying me baby food, and it just sits in the cupboard for when I wanna snack because no one has said when she'll be ready.

The WHO and the AAP say 6 months at the earliest. And say NO to white rice cereal and purees. If baby can sit up unassisted, then small bites of avocado, baked sweet potato and banana are good starters. Whole wheat brown rice is a good first grain.
