Who else has lots of snow AND wild ducks on porch coming to be fed? Pic. added-less snow at moment.

I have never seen ducks around in winter time unless they are kept.

  • We have very little snow (we got about an inch or two Monday, first snow of the season) but I would love to see wild ducks on my porch! Can you share a photo? How neat (c:

  • Our ducks here in my town never leave. You'll see them out on the lake swimming in the water of a thin patch. We also have Canada geese and seagulls. In Wisconsin!

  • We've got loads of snow, but no ducks. The ducks were driven out by the Canadian geese, which all fly south for the winter, so all we have right now are the grackles & I wouldn't feed them for anything.

  • I found cracked corn for them and shared with a neighbor so they too can have ducks on their side,LOL.-they arent messy as long as food isnt dropped on patio, they love the cracked corn and we love watching them. A bit skiddish but throroughly enjoyed having them folow me to neighbors side as They saw me and folowed, when some fly up to get closer to me its funny but I just keep praying they dont land on me,LOL.-they are like 2yr old kids trying ot be the first/closest.
