For Wiccans...

I am really interested in your religion and I am trying to do some research, but I don't know if what I am reading on the web is accurate or not. Could you please give me some links for some good websites to do my research?

Thank you!

  • I'm not Wiccan, but I can give you some information about it. There's a mom on here that has a wonderful blog ... http://witchywonderland.blogspot.com/ . She has TONS of information there.

  • I recommend Scott Cunninghams Wicca:Guide for the Solitary Practitioner.

It was the first book recommended to me when I wanted to learn more and I really enjoyed it. It opened it all up for me.

Everyone has their opinions on whats best to read and such...but this is mine. After that I read various books I found on Amazon.com about the subject.

ReligiousTolerance.org may have some nice, neutral information. And doing what you are doing is marvelous too...asking questions.

I do believe there are Wiccan groups on CM that are for those trying to learn about the path too. THat would be a good place to go as well.

  • I second the vote for Wicca for the Solitary Practitioner. Awesome book for getting an overview of the religion.

  • Also the "Idiot's Guide" and "For Dummies" books are good for basic basic basic info, and good for beginners.
