he was snooping on me?

I get up at 5am for work.So I lay out my clothes the night before.Husband picked up my jeans for the next morning, felt something in the pocket. It was a five dollar bill that I washed accidentally. He came in the living room and said I found this in your pocket.I think he was snooping. It bothers me because I have not given him a reason to in 15 years.

  • Maybe he saw a pump in the pocket and looked

  • You've been together so long, just ask him. Perhaps he was collecting change, looking for something he lost, etc
Also a little bit of snooping might mean he's having some insecurity issues he needs reassuring about something.

  • It doesn't necessarily mean he was snooping, but if he had no reason to check the pockets, I can understand why you would wonder.

  • I agree with the first 2 ladies, I would ask. Sounds like he's insecure about something.

    Good Luck!!

  • My DH is always snooping in my purse. Even after telling him not to plenty of times in our 22 years of marriage.
Just ask him why he did it.

  • There could e quite a number of reasons why he looked, give him the benefit of the doubt...

  • Sounds like you are guarding something......maybe -maybe not. I would see it as no big deal, the pants dropped, he picked them up, felt something was nosey. Thats all it was. He was being Nosey. I'm nosey. Human Nature IMO.

If you're really worried about it ask him. GL
