Sore tight muscles

What do you do for them? I can't take a hot bath like I usually do. I had LEEP done and I have to avoid baths for 2 weeks. I also have no one to give me a massage. Any tips. My neck, shoulders and upper back are killing me.

  • have you taken ibuprofen? this should help the inflammation. you can also try a heating pad, or warm compresses. that bengay stuff works pretty well too.

  • I dont have that kind of stuff in my house older, wish i did lol.   I'm using a bed buddy, its a heating pad like thing, you heat it in the microwave but it doesn't work very long. Its been like this for days.

  • Use your heating pad in the areas for 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off, then use cold compress 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off on the same areas just keep rotatoting (sp) them around. Try sitting and stretching the areas as much as you can without pain. good luck.
