  • After what happened to my friend's baby this morning - studs. My friend put hoops in her 3 month old's ears and the baby ripped one out. I'm pretty pissed.

  • you would never want to put hoops on a baby...they could get caught and be ripped out. Definitly studs and ones made for children with the locking backs

  • I would be afraid to put hoops in, even little ones, because they could rip their ear off. I went with studs. I have a pair of small hoops for dd(2.5) and only put them on her for pictures ever since she had them. Other than that she sore studs since 6 mo

  • Studs or small decorative earrings. I prefer screw backs (once they can be changes) with my DD she figured our how to get the 'locking' backs off at 18 months! She is 3 now and yet to figure out the screws.
