How old is too old? BF ?

Im not judging but find it strange to see a child bf after 2yo. One really but two should be the limit. Ive known of women that bf until like 5yo! How do you feel about older KIDS bf?

  • It is a personal decision. Everyone is different.

  • When mom has to come into the kindergarten class! LOL! Just kidding. I think it all depends on your beliefs. I know some foreign families that believe as long as the child wants to, they should be allowed to. Personally, I've never known anyone to go over two.

  • I'd stop at 12 months.

  • DD was a little over two when she stopped. But, she was having trouble eating solid foods, the fact that she breastfed so long was a life saver.

I don't find it strange. I find it more strange when healthy women refuse to breastfeed all together.

  • I don't get super judgey about it, but I do tend to think it's slightly weird after about the age of 2 or so. Not something I get my feathers ruffled over as long as they quit by kindergarten.

  • Lol i used to joke around with my hubby & say" I'm not stopping till around 3 years old", he would soooo freak & start going of the handle saying "how could you those are my boobies too!" lol it was hilarious! Personally i would never BF past the age of 2 years old...i think it's a lil to old for me.

  • Hahaha...anyone seen the movie Grown Ups?! LOL!

But more seriously, it honestly doesn't bother me...whatever the age. I'm in complete agreement with Marwill!
