  • diarrhea can be serious. Call your pharmacist and take him into the Dr.s in the morning if he isn't better. Poor guy.

  • It has to come out. Just slather his bottom with diaper rash cream. He'll probably get a rash. Keep offering water.

  • Give him, toast, Bananas, apple sauce, white rice. Anything that will help make his poopies harder. I wouldn't get all worked up over this and take him to the doctors just yet, I say just watch him see how he is. If he has a fever or you feel like he is getting dehydrated then call the doctor. Other wise you could get some pedialyte. or have him drink a good amount of water. Cut back on sugary drinks like juice.

  • Get some probiotics in him We use the chewable tablets but some Activia yogurt would work as well but then there is a lot of sugar in that...

  • try some burnt toast..the blackened part absorbs, and will help make the poop harder. poor thing, if his bottom's raw, you can always wipe with a warm wet wash cloth (that advice came from dd's pedi). we battled horrible diarhea with dd when she was younger, i felt so bad for her. good luck.

  • Green, almost ripe bananas are a great diarrhea stopper. Its the only thing that worked for me when I was pregnant with my son and didn' want to take any medications ( sorry if TMI :) . Works like a charm! I've also heard that canned pumpkin works good too, but I've never tried it.
