  • I know this isn't what you want to hear but yes and it's not really a good thing usually. I just had a miscarriage 7 days ago.

-I had my HCG check at 5 weeks 2 days and it was 441 (normal range).

-Then it was checked at 9 am 2 days later. It had fallen to close to 400.

-It was checked again (different doctor) at 4:45 PM that SAME DAY and it was 478.

-I started bleeding Thursday morning. When they checked my levels at the ER (was sent there because of a history of hemorragh) around 7pm it was already down into the 300s.

I started bleeding EXTREMELY heavy later that night, passed my baby the next day, and when my levels were checked this Monday (5 days after the miscarriage began) they were at 35. :'(

    Sorry...but that was my experience.
