do all babies get really still before/during labor?

  • i don't think they get still, i think the uterus contracts them into the birth canal and there isn't enough room to move about

  • Yes, there is not much room for them to move around.

  • Mine didn't. When I went into be induced she kept kicking the monitor around and the nurse couldn't believe how active she was.

  • Not all babies, but generally speaking yes. They still move on occassion, but their movement does lessen by a great deal.
    My daughter all but froze up, but my son still wiggled around. I could feel him moving his head in the canal. Weird.

  • My daughter didnt move at all when i was in labor i think she knew what was going on lol jk but im pregnant with # 2 and im so excited and i wonder how this one is gonna be during labor .

  • They don't have much wiggle room when their coming down the birth canal. The contractions sometimes lull them to sleep also... But that's why they monitor them so closely. If something were wrong they would tell you.
