  • I don't believe there to be a difference. I breast fed one and bottle fed the other. They were the same. They are now adults and I have never been able to prove any theories on breastfeeding.

  • Breast fed all 3, and only our youngest still snuggles with me (he's 7 yrs).. When I tell them I did, they all look at me like I just gave them bugs to eat...

  • I think so because they are so strongly connected to their mothers during those first, precious months of life.

  • As babies, I believe yes. I have 7 kids and I have breastfed 4 or them. I think the ones I breastfed were more attached to me while they were breastfed and actually they were more needy babies that the ones I didn't breastfeed. As they got older that changed. Everyone is attached to me more or less depending on their character.

  • I don't think so either.. BF my youngest, FF the other two and none of them are more/less attached than the others.. They all 3 are very independant.

  • No. My FF kids both have always had a case of static cling, and I'm their wool sweater.
Just because the nipple wasn't personally mine, doesn't mean we didn't form strong bonds.

  • I think kids will bond to their mom whether FF or BF. BF doesn't make them more clingy if that is what you are asking. They will grow up to be just as independent as God intended.
