  • I agree! I love those little holiday books you can buy seasonally by the checkstands. I have found lots that were slow cooker books, bbq, just cookies, desserts, jello recipe books, cream cheese recipies, my fav are the Betty Crocker ones. I got 6 months of Taste of Home magazine once and hated it! I rarely found anything I would be interested in making and there were too many advertisements and not enough actual recipes.

  • I like the mini magazines that are full color pages that are put out on special occassions like "Christmas cookies" or "casseroles" that Betty Crocker kas.

  • Food arts- It is for professionals. For the home cook I think taste of Home is one of the best! Or it used to be- last time I saw it, it was full of ads.
