  • Is he/she constipated? Make sure he/she is getting plenty of fiber and fluids. If it is a mental thing- like not wanting to sit on the toilet- talk to your Dr.

  • i had to give my son prune juice...i deluted it with 1/4 water, but it worked. cheerios work too!!

  • Problems pooping in a potty, or constipated?

    1/2 and 1/2 OJ and water will help, it's gentler than prune juice. They probably need more water / juice.... make sure they always know and have access to a drink.

  • Apple slices on a daily basis will help too. Set up a schedule and put him on the potty to help remind him not to hold it too long. And warm baths before the potty will help too.
