  • Water! And lots of it. Generally, diet soft drink really aren't good even for losing weight. You don't need money to exercise! Go on craigslist or freecycle to get some DVDs with some good workouts on them. There are tons of magazines that have toning exercises in them, or you can look them up online. Jump roping is incredible aerobic exercise and very cheap.

  • youtube has free exercise vids too.

Drink less diet drinks & more water. Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies.

  • water, juicing fruit, and smoothies are all i can come up with... i am also a mom to 3 under 3, so walking is GREAT exercise... we head to the mall and walk around there... or at the gym i belong to... when it's nicer out we walk everywhere... but i can work up a sweat getting the 3 kids into Walmart and walking through EVERY isle... takes about 20 minutes inside! lol! that's my main wintertime workout.

  • Switching to diet is a good step, but stopping the soda all together will work even better. However, I know the headaches that will come. OUCHIE! Limit the sodas, and drink more water. Sure, it's not as tasty, but it's much more effective.

  • Stay away from diet drinks...the artificial sweetner has been shown in tests to increase the body's appetite for sugar...and the sodium content is detrimental.

Drink a lot of water and eat around your house while doing housework, use your children as "weights"'ll get some strength training, and they'll giggle like loons. Most of all, have fun with it =)

  • Water is the best thing to drink. You can do video workouts indoors while kids are sleeping too.
