  • Bleach. I also put bleach in the dishwater if I am washing utensil sick family is using. Remember to switch out his toothbrush in a couple days too.

  • Have you ever tried anything other than chemicals? A run through the dishwasher is good. Steam. Peroxide.............

  • Don't use bleach unless you are going to rinse them off after. Bleach is incredibly toxic, as is lysol. Vinegar works really good and won't cause them to get sick.

  • You don't like the fact I said bleach. I get that, but do you agree she should switch out his tooth brush?

  • My son has been sick so many times, I'm going with something strong. They will be rinsed with hot water after being washed. Plus majority of the toys are small so the dishwasher wouldn't work.

  • Good luck OP. It is rough when it keeps passing through the house.

  • I put small things in a delicates bag (like for the washing machine) or in a dishwasher basket for bottles, pacifiers, sippy cup valves, etc. and then put them in the dishwasher.

  • And you have to throw out his toothbrush. At least, that's what my son's pediatrician said to do. It's too hard to get clean with all the bristles.
