  • I had a hard time pumping too....I did GREAT with just feeding...but never could get too much to pump.

I used formula, dont worry about it, use your formula :)

  • I actually use formula. I can't pump if I tried. But now that she is older, 7 months, I just mix the cereal with baby food. She likes it thick like that now.

  • we skipped cereal it really has no nutritional value, i recommend reading up on delaying solids
but if you are for sure wanting to do cereal use your milk or water, with the recalls on formulas lately i wouldnt let my child eat it if i had other options!

  • The only nutritional value in infant cereal is the milk it's mixed with... so what kind of milk that is determines how "good" it is. Personally, we never did cereal. So many more yummy foods to try!

  • I always used water....DS wouldnt eat it if it had my milk or formula in it. I would try with your milk first. Why pay for formula if you can use breast milk.

  • I'm having a hard time pumping...I feel like she barely gets enough milk as it is. And I have formula from the hospital that I doubt I will need to use, so it wouldn't be an expense.

  • I used breast milk, but I dont think it would be a big deal to use formula.

  • I did mine (when they were little) with mama milk. And then when older via water.
