Got any recipe ideas for next to no food

I have 3 whole chickens
maybe 5 lbs of ground beef and turkey
at least 1 can of each type of veggie
1 can of tomato sauce
a bunch of cans of tomato paste
1 (1lb pkg) frozen ravioli

I'm pretty sure thats it and I cant get to the store for a few days so I'd like as many recipes as possible

  • Sounds like a lot of food to me... how many are we feeding and for how long? Well veggies seem a little slim...

  • Chicken soup may be the BEST best bet. Chicken one night with a veggie hen chicken soup the next by boiling bones and adding a veggie and some noodles or rice if you have it. Tomato paste can be turned pretty easy into sauce for ravioli. Tomato sauce w/ ground turkey w/pasta or even over toast.

  • yes making your own pasta is easy and fun. You can make tortilla's w/o yeast and ther are several web sites that can give you no yeast bread recipes. The only one I know calls for beer.
