Are plastic bottles dangerous?

I just bought the Dr.brown bottles, plastic, and I heard I shouldnt use them. Do you know anything about the chemical that could be in them and do you think they are safe?

it's safe as long as you aren't putting HOT liquids in the bottles.

  • BPA only comes out in the bottles if you are boiling them, microwaving them, etc. As long as you just hand wash them, it should be fine. No extreme heats and the BPA won't do anything.

  • Your fine as long as you follow the above advice. You should also consider your plastic storage containers and microwave frozen foods, as those types of things have allot of the chemical BPA in them. The FDA said it needs more long term studies to be certain that were all safe, not just babies.
