How much should you leave with your child or whoever is going to take them to the movies?

My kids are invited to a b/day party (cousins) and they've already planned out the day so my kids will be spending the night much money should I leave them with or give to the grown up?
Oh and the gift the boy will be 12.
Thanks Ladies!!!

  • $25.00 dollars for the movies and a snack. For the gift I would get a gift card.

  • I would say atleast $20-25. Anything less and there won't be enough for a movie ticket and snacks. The last time I went to the movies it was $9 to get in plus another $13 for snacks (soda and popcorn).

  • I would give my kids $20 each for the movie and snacks. And try to find a gift for the birthday boy in the $20-$30 price range.

  • I'd say around $25.00 for the movie, drinks and snacks, and $20.00 for a gift card.
