algebra 2, geometry, Trigonometry, and calculus

does anyone have high school students that use a good textbook? the old fashion ones with a example, then exercises and all that?

I'm trying to find some, but seems like in most places I run into the 'teach yourself geometry in 30 days things'
I'm looking for good old fashioned text books!

anybody have suggestions? don't want to buy something off line and have it turn out that it stinks!

  • I pulled this from the syllabus my daughter's teacher (Algebra 2 / Trigonometry) posted: Larson, Ron, et al. Algebra 2. Evanston: McDougal Littell, 2004. I bought a copy to keep at home, on ebay, for around $20, and a workbook with extra problems for $6
