What can I make with this?

I have the following items in the cabinet and I'm not sure what I can do with them to make a tasty treat:

unopened packages of butterscotch morsels and semi-sweet morsels
un-open can of sweetened condensed milk
powdered sugar (I think)
brown sugar (I think)
one or two sticks of land o lay butter

What can I make with this?

  • Choc./butterscotch fudge. Don't need the brown sugar though :)

  • Do you have any peanut butter?

Answer by amessageofhope at 12:16 AM on Jan. 14, 2011

  • I have maybe a third of a jar of creamy peanut butter; saving that for sandwiches for my daughter. She likes peanut butter and Nutella (or apple butter). I have toyed with the idea of making Nutella and chocolate fudge; I would need a whole jar of it, though.

  • do you have flour?

  • Super easy fudge - 2 sticks of butter, one of the bags of chips (or half of each) and the can of condensed milk. Mix those in a glass bowl, microwave a minute at a time until it melts, stirring after each minute. When it's thoroughly combined, pour it in an 8x8 pan lined with 2 layers of wax paper. Throw it in the fridge until it sets.
