What really causes them? Have you ever had the same one over and over for years? I've had the same one for 10 years about something very traumatic in my life.

  • They have several causes as do recurring dreams, but too much info to put in this limited reply space. Usually fear connected with internal drives such as aggression;sexuality; and the process of growth and change. You need to confront it and move it forward before it disappears completely. Though sometimes recurring dreams are a past life memory. Either way you need to deal with the traumatic experience instead of repressing it.
