Classic Books

Amazon is offering thousands of free e-books via Kindle from the classics category. A quick search on my part tells me there are so many I have not read! What "must-reads" would you ladies recommend? The Scarlet Letter? Jane Austin novels? Bram Stoker?

  • I'm not a fan of Austen on the Brontes. But truthfully I think those are all the books you should try reading (especially because they're a free download).

  • Depends on the type of story you like, but Bram Stoker's Dracula was a good book. My favorite author is Edith Wharton. She wrote in the early 1900s.

I was an English major and have a ton of books downstairs that I could recommend to you. Unfortunately, only Wharton is popping into my mind. PM me if you'd like me to send you a book list.

  • Jane Eyre is my favorite classic, so I would definitely recommend that one. The Count of Monte Cristo is fabulous.
