When is it appropriate to switch from formula to milk?

  • generally around 10 1/2 or 11 months old give a tablespoon of cows milk to your kiddo every few days or so, just to make certain they wont be having an allergy from it. try to start weaning down the formula like the week of the 1st birthday then and vow to not buy another container. by 13 months you should be entirely done, in theory. good luck!

  • It's currently said at about a year old. But this changes. My pedi had my mother switch me to whole milk at 3 months!!!! I switched my daughter completely at about 10 months

  • My DD is about to turn 11 months old and we are making her bottle half whole milk and half formula then at 12 months we are switching to just the whole milk and no more formula.

  • i started switching over at about 11 months then when they were ready the formula and the bottles went away and they had sippy cups.
