The Whole Conceiving twins topic

I wasnot totally sure how the how Twins gene is carried, is it pasted down to the son or daughters?
Do you have to be the direct child of a twin mother/father to have the gene?
What are the chances of having twins if you have twins in one of your parents famillies?

  • I have always been told that it is all on the woman to make the twins. My husband is a triplet and I would love to have a set of twins or triplets. My doctor told me that it didnt increase my chances because he was.

  • Only fratneral twins are genetic...Identicals are nothing but a fluke of nature. It is only passed through the maternal side, so it just depends on the situtation...
