  • I knew that second line was coming. I'm watching Dr. Phil right now about teen pregnancy. If she can't be responsible for herself, how is she going to responsible for another life? Are you ready to raise another baby? If not you need to discuss all options? And I would recommend you watch this episode of Dr. Phil. Is she ready to give up her life and postpone her future. Is she ready to stop everything and put her whole self into raising a baby?

  • unless she's high risk pregnant or on bedrest she should have a part time job by this time tomorrow (if she's keeping the baby) or be in counseling and pouring through adoption books if she is not.

  • hibbingmom: How do you expect a PREGNANT teen to get a job in a day when people with college degrees can't get jobs after looking for years? Just a question.

  • Treat her like child she is behaving like. Don't give her any money, car keys, rides, etc. unless she carries her weight.

If she is planning to keep this child, how does she plan to support it?

Honestly, I would not allow teen parents to sponge off of me.

  • You need to sit down and have a long talk with this girl. Tell her the rules of the house if she wants to stay there. She needs to do her share or your not feeding her or providing her a place to stay. And stick to your guns. Good Luck!

  • Guess you should have kind of taught her to not be lazy awhile ago and um, maybe she wouldn't be pregnant now if you were a little more on top of parenting. OOOPS!
