  • Both my kids were right around 3 years old. It wasn't the greatest handwriting, but you could tell what the letters were. They sometimes needed reminded how to spell it though. Both my kids have names less then 5 letters though so that might have helped a little too. Their full name my youngest who is 3.5 still can't write, but her 5.5 year old brother was just over 4 when he could write first and last name.
