  • Is it alot of blood? does it happen frequently? My DH gets nosebleeds occasionally, but its usually from really dry air in the house.

  • If it is gushing blood and you can't get it to stop in a few minutes yes. If it is not gushing blood and you can't get it to stop in about 15 minutes then I say yes. If it is a recurring thing then yes. If none of the above then no.

  • It could be dry heat. An apartment that I lived in years ago, was super dry.....I woke up with nosebleeds on a regular basis. After I moved, it completely stopped. I wouldn't worry too much. Maybe you should invest in a humidifier or just put a large stockpot of water on your stove to simmer. It will add moisture to the air.
