Anyone adopt a child older than there bio child?

I have a four year old bio dd, and we are curently about to adopt an older child. Has anyone else ever done this? how did you younger child take going from an only child to having an older sibling? Thanks...

  • umm did you not read it? I already have a four year old, we are about to adopt another child who would be older than her... im not adopting my bio dd.

  • hey again, we are doing the same thing. my kids are 6, and 8. we are adopting an teenager. they are very excited to have a new sibling....we make sure they all get even time with us and special one on one time with us that way no one feels left. out. ;)

  • Just set your 4 yr old down and explain to her that she is going to have an older brother or sister. Good luck.
